Each morning when I awake, I experience again a supreme pleasure – that of being Salvador Dali.

I know it’s odd to close out  a section on a bad note but I think Dali would appreciate the use of this weaponized  stereoscopic work: Athens Is Burning! The School of Athens and the Fire in the Borgo, 1979.

I suggest the title could be paraphrased as “My Eyes Are Burning and the fire in my Brain.”  View this surreal, discordant image at your own risk.

Old photographs are an infinitely minute part of my personality.

Full stop!  The blog is going to shift gears for a few days and will feature the art of Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, Marquis of Dalí de Púbol (Salvador Dalí.)  In the mid 1970’s Dalí produced a series of stereoscopic paintings in left and right panels.  As a break from the photography I thought I’d post the 3D results of combining the two panels of each piece.  Be prepared for man who said he was a drug himself: Dalí.
